This prestigious event heralded as an "Official Opening Event of Pride Weekend Fort Lauderdale" will be held at the Ritz-Carlton\, Fort Lauderdale. Proceeds from this evening is will  support Stonewall National Museum & Archives innovative programming and exceptional exhibitions. Over 300+ guests are expected to attend. Kathy Najimy\, Award-Winning Actress & "Social Action Hero"  will be the 2019 Keynote Speaker.  Honorees include Jazz Jennings star of the TLC reality TV series\, I Am Jazz\, which focuses on her life with her family as a teenager and as a transgender youth and Brian McNaught author and corporate diversity trainer on LGBTQ issues.  Named "the godfather of gay sensitivity training" by\n\nthe New York Times\, Brian was the Mayor of Boston's Liaison to the LGBTQ community from 1982 to 1984 and createdthe nation's first city-sponsored AIDS Task Force.  Carson Kressley will be in attendance as a celebrity presenter. Carson Kressley was the fashion expert on the television program Queer Eye\, where he was one of the show's "Fab Five".
