DESCRIPTION:Lace-up your brightest jogging shoes and slip on your splashiest running shorts! You can soon dress in your favorite color of the rainbow and join The Pride Center's inaugural 5K fundraiser. Stroll\, jog or run your way across the finish line with your closest friends and family!\n\n\n\nThe Rainbow 5K  Run/Walk will be held on Sunday\, April 10\, 2016. Participants will wind through the beautiful tree-lined streets of the Island City on the 3.1 mile certified 5K course.\n\n\n\nThe Rainbow Run is the newest part of The Pride Center's health initiative programming. Live entertainment along the route and post-race music\, food and beverages also are planned for the event. More than 400 participants are expected to attend. The starting line will be in the heart of Wilton Manors on Wilton Drive\, and runners will take off at 7:30 a.m. The Center is collaborating with Split Second Timing for event organization and promotion.\n\n\n\nRegistration admission is $25 for adults. Participants will receive a Pride Center Rainbow 5K Run t-shirt\, and participants will be able to run in their favorite color of the rainbow. Proceeds of this event support the vital services and programs of The Pride Center at Equality Park.

LOCATION:Race Course In the heart of the City of Wilton Manors\, Wilton Drive! A certified 5K race route is along Wilton Drive to Andrews Avenue and through beautiful city neighborhoods and back to Wilton Drive.
