A Sense of Pride Symposium: Visual Activists and New Identities

As a lead-up to June Pride Month and the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall, this one-day symposium with local and national LGBTQ artists, curators and activists will highlight issues in the LGBTQ+ art community.

Speakers include: artists Roberto Juarez, Kia LaBeija, Naima Green, Roberto Navarrete, GeoVanna Gonzalez and Najja Moon; Alex Fiahlo, programs director Visual AIDS, Requel Lopes, director of the World AIDS Museum and Education Center. Performances by artists Rosemarie Romero, Roberto Navarrete and the Fort Lauderdale’s Gay Men’s Chorus.
