WMODA visitors are starstruck by the dazzling installation of Windstars by Rob Stern, a Miami based glassblower. In addition to cosmic phenomena, Rob is fascinated by nature and studies shells, leaves and seed pods for his brilliant glass sculptures. Rob has worked with all the leading glass artists, including Chihuly, and a selection of works from his 30 year- career is now on display as part of the museum's Art on Fire exhibit. hear Rob talk about his work on Saturday, March 21st. The exhibit runs until September 30th. Monday to Friday 10am-5pm.
