We are honored to welcome Dr. Jo Ann M. Bamdas, Ph.D., Ed.S., as our guest speaker. Dr. Bamdas is a nationally recognized expert in dementia practices and intellectual disabilities. Her credentials include:

FAU Alum (1999, 2001, 2009)
Lead Researcher and Student Placement Specialist
HHS Administration for Community Living Grant Project Manager
NTG Affiliate Regional Trainer
Member, National Task Group (NTG) on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices

Silver PRIDE is a vital education and wellness group serving LGBTQ+ older adults (ages 50+) in Broward County, with a special focus on those aging with chronic illnesses. We offer a safe, affirming space for connection, empowerment, and holistic care.
