A recipient of the Jazz Hero Award and inductee of the South Florida Jazz Hall of Fame, she’s celebrated for her work in music education and community outreach. Through programs like Jazz Encounters and the Jazz Education Community Coalition, Yarling empowers young artists while sharing her soulful, masterful artistry in performances that connect deeply with audiences.
