World AIDS Museum Film Discussion Series: Common Threads

Join the World AIDS Museum for our August Film Discussion Series featuring short clips of the 1989 documentary Common Threads: Stories from the Quilt. The documentary tells the story of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt and profiles various individuals who are memorialized by the quilt through interviews with family members and friends, photos, home films and news clips. Several clips will be played and followed by an audience discussion on the ideas and implications of the scenes and the film’s impact.
